Turn on/off invisible grid in a model window. This command is only available in “graphical view”. If the grid is on, objects will “snap to” the closest grid positions when moved. In this case the menu text is “Turn grid off”. If the grid is off, the objects will just stay where you drop them. The menu text is then changed to “Turn grid on”. The grid size is controlled in the dialog box which appears when you use “Folders…” command in the “Preferences” submenu of the “File” menu.
Lock/unlock objects
Lock/unlock all objects in the active directory. When the objects are locked, they cannot be selected or moved.
If the objects in a folder are locked, all “double-click” operations can be done by a single click. Thus the objects act like buttons.
In particular, when nodes and events are locked, you can bring up the node/event editing dialog boxes by clicking their icons once, as opposed to double-clicking in the normal unlocked mode. Similarly when folders are locked, they are opened by clicking their icons once.
